Documenting the sublime absurdity of raising children in this era.

My daughters were born yesterday, and yet- at the time that I write this- they are eight and five years old. It passes just as quickly as everyone says it will. Time if baffling and relentless. Do not hesitate. Hire an artist to make your family’s photos.

For the past ten years, I have been inside hundreds of homes, with hundreds of families across the USA, Ireland and Europe. I have been studying how to make images that depict family life as the dream world that it is. Because how could anything as glorious and mundane and surreal and absurd and funny and weird be anything but a dream?
